A Keeve Productions feature film
Jimmy Comes Marching Home is a historical feature drama set in September 1945, following decorated military veteran and Hollywood actor James Stewart as he returns home after World War II.
Staying with close friends Henry and Frances Fonda at their Mandeville Canyon ranch, Stewart struggles with the psychological consequences of his wartime service and questions whether he can return to the career he left behind.
As memories of the war, personal relationships and his changing sense of identity collide, the possibility of starring in Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life offers Stewart a path toward rediscovering his purpose.
About the Film
The film explores the human experience of war, trauma, friendship, identity and recovery through a pivotal period in James Stewart’s life. Its story moves between postwar Hollywood, intimate domestic spaces and Stewart’s memories of military service.
